Embossed boxes and carrier bags for brands that want packaging with texture: rigid boxes with magnetic or book-style closures and embossed paper bags, personalised with your logo.
What is embossed packaging?
Embossed packaging is packaging covered with paper that has a raised, three-dimensional texture pressed into it, so the surface can be both seen and felt. In the Packeria Embossed Line this paper is used for rigid boxes and carrier bags. The rigid boxes are covered with 90 gsm embossed paper in 9 embossing patterns and are available as magnetic closure boxes, book-style boxes, accessory and jewellery boxes and square or rectangular base and lid boxes; hot foil printed versions come in 10 paper colours, digitally printed versions in white or kraft brown. The Elegant bag is made from 200 gsm embossed paper in 9 textures and 7 colours with cotton handles, and the embossed luxury bags are made from 170 gsm embossed paper, either digitally printed at a chosen coverage or finished with gold or silver lamination. Jewellers, perfumeries, fashion and accessory shops and companies preparing corporate gifts choose this line for a premium look.
How do the embossed products differ?
| Product | Material | Options | Personalisation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embossed rigid boxes | Rigid board covered with 90 gsm embossed paper | 9 patterns, 10 colours (hot foil) or white and kraft brown (digital) | Hot foil stamping or digital printing |
| Elegant bag | 200 gsm embossed paper, cotton handles | 9 textures, 7 colours | Hot foil stamping |
| Embossed luxury bag | 170 gsm embossed paper, white cotton handles | 4 print coverage levels | Digital printing |
| Embossed luxury bag, gold or silver | 170 gsm embossed paper with metallic lamination, polypropylene cords | 9 patterns, gold or silver | Hot foil stamping |
Which print coverage should I choose?
At 0-25% coverage the white embossed texture stays visible and the logo appears clean and discreet. 26-50% leaves room for a larger logo or graphic elements, 51-75% allows bold, colourful designs across most of the surface, and 76-100% on laminated paper covers the whole bag with complex graphics or full-colour images.
